Sailing courses summer 2026 in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The Little Sailors

From July 6 to August 28, 2026. Optimist from age 6, Multi-support from age 10, Catamaran for adults.

Give your children an unforgettable summer on the water in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Over five half-days, they'll discover sailing, navigate in small groups, observe marine life, and learn about the wind. Supervised by our state-certified instructors, in the exceptional setting of Cros deï Pin Beach. For children aged 6 to 10, the Optimist course is our flagship program: a small, ultra-stable boat, fun sessions, clear progression, and a booklet provided at the end of the week. For children aged 10 and up, the multi-sport course varies each day depending on the weather: kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, or catamaran sailing. Ideal for children who love variety.

Adults are not forgotten: 3 or 5-day catamaran courses from Monday to Friday, combining discovery or improvement with summer fun. A true week of sailing in one of the most beautiful spots on the French Riviera.

The Optimist 6-10 year old course

Safe sailing, the fun version

The Optimist is the ideal small sailboat for children learning to sail. Short, wide, and forgiving, it's very stable, and even the youngest sailors quickly gain confidence. The course takes place over five half-days (Monday to Friday), either morning or afternoon.

The program alternates between fun theory (nautical vocabulary, reading the wind, safety), supervised practical exercises on the water, balance games, and group challenges. Each child progresses at their own pace, under the watchful eye of our instructors. At the end of the week, a progress booklet is provided to track their development.

€200 per week, plus a mandatory €16 FFV Sailing Pass license. Book online or by phone.

Variety so you never get bored

For children who want to try everything, the Multi-Sports course is perfect: each day, the instructor chooses the activity based on the weather conditions and the group's preferences. Kayaking some days, paddleboarding, windsurfing, catamaran sailing: every day is different.

It is also an excellent entry point for teenagers who are hesitating between disciplines: they discover several mediums in a week and can then choose what they like best for the future.

€230 per week, plus €16 for the Sailing Pass license. Online booking.

Safety and supervision

All our instructors are state-certified (BPJEPS or DEJEPS) and trained in childcare. One instructor supervises up to 15 children aged 11 to 15, or up to 10 children aged 6 to 10.

The equipment is maintained, the sailing areas are clearly defined, and a safety motorboat accompanies each outing. Life jackets are mandatory and must be properly fitted. A FFV health questionnaire is required beforehand (downloadable from the website).
