Sailing lessons and rentals in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

Rent a catamaran or Laser by the hour, or take a private lesson. From beginner to advanced.

Sailing on the bay of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat means venturing close to the most sought-after coastline on the French Riviera, with the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild as a backdrop. Our sailing school welcomes you all year round on Cros deï Pin Beach for catamaran or Laser outings.

Looking to try sailing without pressure, improve your skills on a more technical boat, or simply enjoy an hour of independent sailing? We have a package for you. Our private lessons put you directly in the hands of a state-certified instructor. Our hourly rental gives you full freedom, provided your level has been validated by our team. The Cap Ferrat spot offers a sheltered, supervised body of water — the perfect place to learn to sail safely, 20 minutes from Nice and 5 minutes from Beaulieu-sur-Mer.

Who is this for?

Beginners curious to discover sailing in optimal conditions
Experienced practitioners who want nice equipment for a few hours
Families with teenagers (Laser and Catamaran accessible from age 11 with supervision)
Residents of the Nice or Monaco area looking for a sailing school nearby

Our pedagogical approach

Whether you take a private lesson or a guided rental, the session begins with a briefing on land: presentation of the boat, the rigging, safety rules, and the authorized navigation area. For beginners, balance games on the water help build confidence before setting off.

In private lessons, the instructor sails with you (or alongside you in a motorboat, depending on the package) and provides real-time feedback. Progress is rapid: most of our students are sailing solo for the first time by the second hour.

For experienced paddlers renting independently, our instructor will assess your skill level before you set off. This ensures safety for you and other users of the waterway.
